If you're still on the fence about the new Lexus RX, then check out this video from The Car Care Nut that goes over a lot. He's a tech that specializes in Toyota and Lexus vehicles and gets right to the point.
Great review. Really helped me decide to not purchase the new 23 lexus RX 350. My initial reaction was 4 cylinder? No way. My gut reaction matches what the reviewer verbalized. Toyota really blew this one. My past experience is 4 cylinders are noisy and trying to make up HP through turbo charging only complicates the system, add potential mechanical issue, and basically, beats the heck outa a small engine to make it perform. 67 years old here with some mechanical background (not that I could /or want to work on these spaceships LOL). My past life was product management so I can see where T engineers are coming from but they really should talk to folks like this reviewer. Sometimes "more" isn't better and he is spot on about the 4 cylinder not fitting with the goal of this vehicle. I'm now on the hunt for an earlier model (damn it) because I just hate the grill on the newer versions. Ironically enough it was the grill that drew me to look at the new 2023 while having service done a few days ago. Oh well maybe T will wise up but to change from the 4 cylinder at this point would have massive cost. I hope I don't have to start looking at the competition because quality, reliability, smooth ride, and comfort are what keep me sticking with T/L brand.
Thanks again for the review!!
