Just brought our 2023 nightmist and birch premium plus home yesterday. Finance Guy told us the full warranty covering the electronics (and this car is full of them) is only good for 12 months. Extended bumper to bumper warranty takes it out to five years beyond the one year factory warranty. I tried my best to get an answer to my question of what percent of RX350s have an electronic issue within six years. FG either didn't know or evaded the question. This Hendricks Dealership self insures these extended policies for a cost to me of just over $4,000. I have 60 days to cancel this and get a full refund. Consumer Reports says to never buy an extended warranty. What is everyone's opinion on this?

Hey @wunderwerks welcome to the forum and congrats on getting your new RX 350! Personally I'd be wary of the extended warranty because while they give a piece of mind they're usually overpriced compared to the benefits you'd receive. You'd be better of putting some money away for repairs on your own if you're that concerned.

What sold you on your RX 350?
